Special reception feature! Please email us a wedding photo of you and your spouse to display in a special area at our reception! Caroline's email address is on the left.WeatherTemperatures in the area during the month of October average a high of 80 degrees and lows in the 50's. The temperature of the water in the Gulf of Mexico is about 75-80 degrees on a sunny October day. What to pack- Multiple swimsuits! You will be in and out of the water several times a day and there is nothing worse than putting a wet swimsuit back on, or sitting around in it.
- Flip flops. You should probably throw in your drinking shoes, too.
- Sunglasses. The sand on the beach is baby powder fine, and brilliant white -- the sun bounces right off it and into your eyes, even on overcast days.
- Dressier-than-beach attire for the wedding. We would appreciate no shorts or golf shirts during the ceremony and reception.
- A sweater or two, for the evening.
- A digital camera. We will set up a special Flickr account where you can upload and share your photos of the week!
- Lots of sunscreen! The rest of the agendaOther than the evening activities outlined on the home page, we plan to spend our time on the beach, at Red Bar, or chilling at the beach house. We are super excited to see all of our favorite people in the same place at the same time! If you wish to plan some activities other than relaxing on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, check out SoWal.com for some ideas. It is not recommended to swim in the Gulf at dusk or after dark, but both beach houses have pools, and one has a hot tub.RegistryYou can find our gift registry at MyRegistry.com. If you choose to give us a gift, please have it shipped directly to our home in Arizona as we will not be able to carry anything back on the plane with us. Your presence is truly the greatest gift you can give!
